A YouTube comedy classic here, as random Americans on the street are stopped by a fake news reporter who is in fact part of an Australian TV program geared towards making fun of the United States. Yes, these morons may have been cherry-picked and anyone who gave an intelligent answer to the questions asked were probably left on the cutting room floor – but its still both funny and revealing to watch such epic levels of ignorance. As a side note, it also shows how a guy like George W was re-elected for a second term as well as the future base for Tea Baggers.

My favorite is the cranky old man! LOL! As I always say… God Bless America!
Believe me, they didn’t have to edit out too many intelligent people from the clip. Americans, as a rule, know little about geography and politics. Only what they see on TV.
This is the most stupid and ridiculous thing I have ever seen, how can these people decide which country should the US invade and they don’t even know where is the location of this country. Everybody is pointin at Australia? I hope they know where they need to send their army before they get themselves into troubles invading other place. And VIVA to the granpa who hates the Middle East I bet you he doesn’t know where we live anyway. VIVA USA!!!
It is always enjoyable to get a good chuckle at the Americans expense but are other coutries any better with their knowledge of other countries? Just asking, don’treally know the answer. I don’t know much beyond Canada so in speaking just to that Country, I think we can act a self-satisfied as being the better and smarter “cousin”…
Whatliesbeanth: Answering your query, at least from the Middle Eastern perspective – we do study Geography and worldwide History. Almost any child in Jordan could tell you where United State on a world map, amongst other countries. The education systems in countries like Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt , and Sudan is actually quite impressive. We study Shakespeare plays, European History, the history in the far east and Persian culture, and even the discovery of North America. I think we would be just a little better in these areas than Americans.
