Do you ever wonder why Americans can’t pass a healthcare reform bill? Do you ever wonder how in the world George W. Bush, after lying about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and showing four years of overall boobery, was actually re-elected for a second term? There are plenty of intelligent people living in the United States of America but unfortunately, they’re are also a lot of uninformed and easily manipulated toy soldiers. This clip shows how debate on healthcare degenerated into religious, racial, xenophobic nonsense that includes the IRS, global warming, the end of America, abortion and more. Groups of people who called themselves “Tea Baggers” passionately united against Obama’s plans in protests across the country - problem is none of them really knew why they were there. They were only told they had to be. If there was ever a downside to democracy, undoubtedly the best form of government ever invented, this is it.

Ummmm… I don’t know what to say. Scary stuff. My favorite is the 13 year old blonde kid who hasn’t even started shaving yet talking about how he’s seen enough and wants to save America. The fat trailer trash woman with sunglasses who starts crying about how she’s going to tell her grandchildren about this day comes, even the fact that she’s unemployed, is a close second. LOL!
It’s hard to watch sometimes. I almost felt uncomfortable, even embarrassed, at the colossal ignorance and malleability of the crowds. Sometimes I had to remind myself I wasn’t watching Saturday Night Live, but real Americans with the power to vote. So many of them were just repeating headlines or the mantra type chants from FOX. My God that’s messed up!
It’s like watching some weird upside down bizarro inversion of the 1960s. Now its white people protesting that their black president is guilty of prejudice and the disenfranchisement of their people! It’s all like some kind of wild dream and race is so much at the center of it all. Check out the pics below:
