Lewis Black has long been a favorite of RELATIVITY Online, but his most recent bit on the Daily Show left our sides splitting. After the one and only Glenn Beck compared Arizona’s controversial immigration law to Nazi Germany, Black rips into Beck’s seemingly uncontrolable habit to cry Nazi everytime he doesnt like someting. Black is just another reason Stewart’s Daily Show is amongst the best on television. He consistently recriuts top notch staff who are as informed and intelligent as they are funny. In a recent survey in the United States, more than 60% stated that they count the Daily Show as the most reliable news source available. The times they are a changing.
Anytime someone is losing an argument or simply touting their side as the moral side, Nazi comparisons come out. It’s a dipshit thing to do, no matter how you use it.
As an Arab, its the only news program I will watch that comes from America, as it’s the only show that simply tells the truth about how things are, no spin, nothing at all, but a real take on things. I dont always agree with Stewart, but I repsect him for playing things straight down the middle.
Absolutely love it, I hate the idiocy of Beck and his constant negative and comparing everything to Nazis Germany. Love the Daily Show, in fact Jon did a piece on Beck earlier this season with him and gold. Also very funny. Should be able to find it on Hulu.
