Born in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, Staff Writer Serife Turkoglu immigrated with her family to Turkey as a child. Raised in the city of Manisa, Turkoglu has since moved to the Turkish capital of Ankara and is currently working towards a degree in English Literature from Bilkent University, the nation’s most prestigious post-secondary institution. On a full-paid scholarship, Turkoglu also spends her time working to establish a background in human resources, marketing and commerce.
