Each year, millions of visitors come to Banff to marvel at the emerald waters of Lake Louise, but her less famous sister Moraine Lake, pictured above, has a magic all her own. Snow-capped peaks and towering evergreen forests surround the glistening glacier water below. At times it leaves all those who visit wondering if they’re standing in Canada’s own version of Heaven.
The Canadian Rocky Mountains supply us with some the grandest and most beautiful sites on the face of the earth. Banff National Park is little more than an hour long drive west of Calgary, Alberta. The Park consists of 6,641 square kilometers of unparalleled mountain scenery nestled in the heart of the magnificent Rockies. The wilderness throughout the Park is also home of some of North America’s wildest creatures, including grizzly bears, caribou and wolves.

I was so lucky to see this beauty with my own eyes. It’s breath taking, almost looks like a wonderful painting, or like looking at a poster. I have travelled trhoughout much of Europe and have seen Asia and the Middle East, but what I have seen in Canada is an exception. The beauty there, the nature, the lovely mountains and the simple politiness of Canadians overall makes your experience a perfect one.
