Gibbs Burke

personal pickBorn in Lutherville, Maryland, American Gibbs Burke is a Modern Constitutionalist, and carries a strong dislike for today’s mainstream media. He views today’s mass media machine as telling its audience how to react to a given situation, rather than simply reporting the news of the day to then let those who watch it pass judgment independently.  Although Burke holds a steadfast belief in both democracy and America itself, he also sees the current American political system as having lost touch with its people and his writing often reflects these frustrations. With that said, his contribution to RELATIVITY also represents America’s frustration of always being in the spotlight, viewing The United States as an international defendant, in the global courtroom, choosing to defend herself rather than run and hide.  Burke, above all else, lends a steady voice of reason to RELATIVITY OnLine’s multicultural line up of contributors.
